This is NOT a complete charge/clean base unit. This replacement part is the upper half only. Use this part to repair your base if the arm on yours no longer locks down to charge & clean shaver
No installation directions are provided from manufacturer. Basic instructions; First, if yours is not working, I would suggest taking it apart so you can see what you’re getting into. It’s already broken so your no worse off if you get it apart and decide not to buy the part. Remove cleaning cartridge and then just take the ‘arm’ in one hand and the base in the other then steadily and firmly pull the two pieces apart at the seam about half way down the base. There are 4 tabs that hold the 2 pieces together. There is also a small wire harness that will need to be unplugged once the two pieces are seperated. You install the new one in the opposite order. The hardest part about installing the new part is getting the tabs lined up correctly and also the 3 clear prongs that fit into the back of the “charge’, ‘clean’ and ‘cartridge’ lights.
