I was skeptical about the reviews here as to how a shaver can be
a great WET shaver, but not so as a DRY shaver. I tried this and
found the reviews to be right on. Not sure how to explain it,
just that I've experienced it for myself.
Have used this over 2 months. Wet shave, you can get a closer shave
versus using it as a dry shaver. For a dry shaver, I recommend
the Remington MSC-140 which I also got here at Amazon for 12.99 with
free ship. That one is 5 stars as a dry shaver.
BTW, this does come with a sturdy case so that is a bonus for using as
a travel shaver.

I bought this shaver for travel, hoping the batteries would last two weeks. After my vacation, I kept using it for several months on the same batteries. It provides a close shave and is easy to clean. I like it better than my plug-in shavers. Low cost is an extra bonus. -- Outstanding value
This is a great little travel shaver, works very well. I carry this in my work bag to get a quick shave when on the road.
Unfortunatly, it appears Amazon has taken over the sale of this nifty item, and so the price I paid, $7.99 with free shipping, is no longer applicable. Seems the giant saw a bargain and scooped.
Bottom line: at 7.99 w/free ship it was a great deal. at 16.99 plus shipping, not so much.
