I've owned many Remington shavers throughout the years. This one is by far the worst when it comes to the life of the foil. A good two months after getting it, I had to buy new foils because one of them was already a goner. It goes without saying I was mad as hell since I had to shell out $40.00 for the part. I decided to write to the company, and instead of telling me what the problem was with the shaver, they just sent me a free replacement kit (foil + cutters). I do not think that solves the problem since now I know I will have to get new foils every two months or so. Guess I will buy a Braun shaver instead. Bummer! -- Foil does not last long

I was really disappointed with this recent model Remington. I have used Remington shavers for ever. My old TA 4570 gives a much better shave. The good news is that I pursued my quest for a new shaver & ordered the Panasonic ES8243A Arc IV Nano Men's Wet/Dry Rechargeable Shaver, Blue
which got very good reviews. I am very happy with the Panasonic. It gives a very comfortable & close shave. I could not get myself to spend at least an additional $100 (over the Panasonic)for a Braun. -- Worse than my ancient Remington TA 4570
