The Remington MS-5500 is a cordless, foil electric shaver that includes a Remington Smart Cleaner System developed to automatically clean and charge the shaver. The MS-5500s foil shaver includes a one hour quick charge, a 60 minute run time, and a 5 minute backup power reserve in case you run out of charge too early. In addition, the MS-5500 features a complete battery gauge that displays the amount of charge remaining in 20% increments, plus an LCD indicator that shows how many minutes are left on the charge. When needing to charge or clean the shaver, the user places it in the Smart Cleaner, which then cleans, lubricates, and charges the shaver to full capacity. The MS-5500 also comes equipped with Titanium-coated trimmer blades, a pop-up mini foil, beard-lifting fins, a pop-up trimmer, a power cord, cleaning brush, a cleaning/charging base, cleaning solution, and a deluxe travel pouch.

I had for about 6 months and the battires quit holding a charge and over all the shave was never very good, I would not buy this shaver again nor would a I recomend this to anybody. -- did last

This is agreat product. I have one curently and when it finaly goes I wanted to have a spare, as I think remington is not selling them any more.works great shave is as good as a blade and not as hard on the skin. the cleaning station will spill if you are not carfull moving it, but it works well. -- self cleaning shaver
I bought this razor from APEX and it would not hold a charge. I emailed APEX and they would not return it for another. They instead sent me a label to send it to Remington. While I assume this is what they would have to do as a consumer I didnt feel it should be my responsibility. ANY other time I have bought a faulty product I have returned it to the place of purchase for the exchange of one that worked!! VERY disapointed! -- Dont buy from APEX
